Fly From Everest – End Polio Now Movie Event

What would inspire someone to climb Mount Everest, launch a paraglider from the summit and fly back down?
For Australian paraglider and Rotarian Ken Hutt OAM, the answer is simple: to help end polio.
In 2022, Ken travelled to Everest to attempt a world-record flight from the summit while raising awareness and funds for Rotary International’s End Polio Now campaign. The expedition became an extraordinary story of mountaineering, paragliding and a much bigger mission.
Join us at Tradies Helensburgh to watch the film documenting Ken’s 2022 Everest expedition, hear more about the journey, and support him as he prepares for a final attempt in 2027.
Ken has already combined high-altitude mountaineering and paragliding for the cause, successfully flying from Mt Cho Oyu in Tibet in 2014. Now, Everest remains unfinished business.
